On book cover

I have grown from loving arabesques patterns to simplicity when it comes to book cover (in fact it has spread to a good number of other fields).

Look at 1984 book cover by Penguin. You need not the eye (which is the it symbol of 1984, hence is adapted ever so often), nor the propaganda style vectors. Basic tittle, basic typface. Clever trick.
