Burma sketches

I truly miss the the genuinely friendly and warm people in Burma. I could just close my eyes now and for each place named, faces would roll in and out in my head like a slow10fps animation. But that was too much to write each and everything in details, I would rather keep it to myself and my travel buddy. And be a tinsy bit content that I finally get to draw something during this trip.

Hti - The tantric bells on top of almost every stupa.

We met a monk here who was kind enough to invite us inside his meditation abode.
Inside its root was hand-woven rattan with beautiful pattern.

Some random temples at Bagan at sun set.  I sat down as the dusk approached from afar, casting sad warm light on every millimetre of sandstone.
So splendid were these shades that I failed to capture.
Shan palace in Nyaung Shwe. Caught it by chance after a long walk around the villages, crossing a few little wooden bridges
and saw its gate slightly opened. I sneaked in and settled myself for the afternoon.
