As a girl I love flower attack. Of course it depends on how the level of cliche/coolness that I'd choose to frown upon or shout out loud.

Olaf Hajek's flowers fall into the shouts. Remember my first time visiting PageOne, I was browsing books like crazy and Flowerhead just got barely 5 seconds before I left the bookshop. But it was enough to drive me crazy, Flowerhead Flowerhead, though at that time I did not know much about Olaf, not even his name to look for his works again.

But the law of attraction works its way for me. It is PageOne again - only this time one of the last time I could comfortably browse books there, that I found these flower power inside an Illustration-sth collection. They are never merely flowers to entertain our eyes. Vibrant yet off-tone, these beauties are surrounded by darker themes and mood with a hint of folktales and fantasy. I am not those who can analyze an artwork in details. So let's agree on this term, it is like chocolate noir with zesty orange peels.
